1.0 Introduction
1.1Background and high level description
The project will be aimed at reducing wastes produced by tires to the environment. With all considerations made the project is set to be put up within a period of one year and should be able to raise profit to a breakeven level after a period of three years after the set up and commissioning of the project. High reduction of waste is expected during the time frame of the project making it very beneficial to the state’s health hazard management. The need for steel is very important in the production of many industrial equipment and materials. It is thus important to utilize every source of steel that may end up as litter on the environment as waste that contain steel are non-biodegradable hence harmful to the environment.

2.1 Project scope statement
This project is a start up project that intends to venture into the production of affordable building materials. The project will begin at the point of carrying out of a market research to establish the sustainability and the practicability of the business. This will also be done to ensure that all contingencies are foreseen and alternate plans are made so as to best know how to handle the contingencies. This project will have the legalities put in place before the undertaking of the project. This includes the undertaking of an environmental impact assessment undertaking to be carried out by the relevant governmental organizations that are tasked with handling environmental matters. The company intends to collect waste car tires and make a great deal out of them by recycling the steel present in tires and using then to make housing tiles. Already utilized tires are commonly piled in dump sites and places bringing about environmental pollution. A solution has now been offered by Tire-Cycle in this project. Collection of used tires from garages and tire factories (defected ones) will be done. The tires would then be taken to Tire Cycle which will retrieve the steel from the tires and sell it as a raw material to steel refining factories.
