For example, in the article by Krishen and others, the consumers are careful on the type of food they consume due to the fear of adverse health consequences. In the second article by Giachino and others, the students are likely to drive at a lower speed because they fear accidents. The use of fear therefore is a perfect communication tool that creates self-enforcement. This knowledge can be used in teaching the public on how to take health precautions especially during this time of COVID-19.
